22 Nov National Wiper Alliance®, manufacturers of Rhino Wipe®, is pleased to announce a partnership with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) drivers Ben Rhodes and Rico Abreu
Cornelius, NC. (August 23, 2016) – National Wiper Alliance®, manufacturers of Rhino Wipe®, is pleased to announce a partnership with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) drivers Ben Rhodes and Rico Abreu. Focusing on the automotive industry and the harsh racing environment, Rhino Wipe’s superior cleaning ability is well matched to conquer the rigors of a race weekend at the track.
National Wiper Alliance® is a first generation business founded in 1996 in Swannanoa, NC. Proudly named the 2015 North Carolina Small Business of the year, National Wiper Alliance in the aerospace, medical, automotive, food service, janitorial, industrial, and retail industries. The Rhino Wipe® system combines the superior strength of reusable dry wipes in a patented refillable tote system. Originally designed for use behind a headrest in a car the portable canvas tote connects to ladders, equipment, boats, and more. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Rhino Wipe® goes to the International Rhino Foundation to stop the illegal poaching of rhinos around the globe.
National Wiper identified rising stars Ben Rhodes and Rico Abreu as key brand ambassadors for the Rhino Wipe® Racing Team. Abreu’s passion for grassroots and local racing delivers Rhino Wipe a platform for a grassroots marketing program across the continental United States. Rhodes’ outgoing personality and speed on the track create the ideal combination for the Rhino Wipe® Racing Team.
Jeff Slosman, President of National Wiper Alliance® said, “Partnering with these great young drivers gave us the opportunity to prove that Rhino Wipes will not only stand up to the grease and dirt of the NASCAR sport, but they will stand up to most anything! They’re as tough as the rhinos we’re working to protect. We’ve made Rhino Wipes® durable enough to re-use and designed them to go along anywhere you’re working, camping, fishing or building your own race car.”
Ben Rhodes, a Louisville, KY, native and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Champion, pilots the No. 41 Toyota Tundra with ThorSport Racing in the NCWTS. Rhodes is currently competing for Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors and the series’ championship title. The 19-year-old drove to a career best second-place finish at Gateway Motorsports Park back in June and picked up his first-career NCWTS 21-means21 pole at Martinsville Speedway in April.
“I’m really looking forward to working with Rhino Wipe® and expanding on this relationship further. They have a really great product that I know we are going to be using constantly around the house and at the track. It’s also great to see them stand up and get involved with a great cause to stop the illegal poaching of rhinos around the globe. Hopefully we can not only raise awareness for their great towels, but also towards the International Rhino Foundation as well.”
Rico Abreu, a Rutherford, CA native, is a two-time defending Chili Bowl Nationals champion and won the 2014 USAC midget championship. The decorated sprint car veteran drives the No. 98 Toyota Tundra with Thorsport Racing in the NCWTS. The 24-year-old is also competing for 2016 Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors and the series’ championship. The California native scored a NCWTS career best third-place finish at Eldora Speedway earlier this year. “It’s an honor to have Rhino Wipe® come on board with us this season. The Rhino Wipe® is especially going to come in handy for our team throughout the rest of the year. The towel is so durable and tough which makes it perfect for dirt track racing. I look forward to working with them throughout the rest of the year and hope we can get them into victory lane.”
